Kana Labs Rebrands to Xyra Labs — A New Chapter in Web3 Innovation

Thank you for your continued support and contributions to our journey. We are pleased to announce that Kana Labs is rebranding as Xyra Labs. This marks not just a change in name, but an evolution in our vision and identity.

From the beginning, our mission has been to simplify Web3 and make it accessible to everyone — from new users with no prior blockchain experience to seasoned professionals. While blockchain and cryptocurrency offer immense real-world utility, technical hurdles have long limited adoption. Our founding team, with decades of combined experience in traditional finance and over a decade of experience in blockchain development, set out to remove these barriers and deliver practical, user-friendly solutions to end-users, developers, and businesses alike.

What began as a simple DeFi aggregator platform has since evolved into a comprehensive DeFi ecosystem. Along the way, we addressed key challenges, including cross-chain interoperability, account abstraction, developer tooling, and trading infrastructure. Unlike most solutions that remained confined to the EVM ecosystem, we pioneered true interoperability between EVM and non-EVM chains with integrated liquidity aggregation. Today, our platform bridges Aptos, Solana, Sui, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and more — unifying liquidity and users under one decentralised framework.

At the same time, we focused on simplifying the user onboarding process. Through innovations such as social logins, sponsored transactions, and our proprietary Gas Station infrastructure, we reduced friction, cut unnecessary costs, and removed the need for users to navigate fragmented ecosystems. We also empowered developers through SDKs and APIs that require no deep blockchain expertise. With only Web2 programming knowledge, they could integrate DeFi and crypto capabilities directly into their applications.

Our results speak for themselves ->

• In less than three years, swap volume surpassed $ 10 billion,with nearly 60,000 active users.
• Our Gas Station infrastructure, Kana Paymaster, has powered over 340 million transactions and today sponsors close to one million daily transactions for 100K+ users, with peaks exceeding three million transactions in a single day.
• These transactions represent roughly thirty percent of all activity on the Aptos network.
• More than fifteen partners across DeFi, GameFi, and SocialFi on Aptos rely on our gasless infrastructure.
• Beyond the Web3 world, through our partnership with SK Telecom we have helped onboard more than 10,000 verified users to its T Wallet showcasing our impact on real world usage.
• We also consistently rank among the top ten global dApps on Aptos by unique users, according to DappRadar.
• Our reach is global, spanning South Korea, Japan, Russia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Spain, Turkey, and parts of Africa.

This has been made possible not only by our products but also by our commitment to providing localized educational content. Through beginner-friendly initiatives in multiple languages, we enable new users to gain hands-on experience and build confidence while interacting with crypto assets.

Most recently, we launched a decentralised CLOB-based Perpetual Futures platform. In just 100 days, trading volume exceeded $1 billion. The platform already offers advanced features such as Hedge Mode, which allows users to open long and short positions simultaneously on the same asset — capabilities previously reserved for centralised exchanges. More innovations will follow in the near future.

The rebrand to Xyra Labs marks the beginning of this next chapter. Derived from the Greek word Xyroz (“sharp, precise, clarity”) and echoing Kyrios (“authority, brightness”), the new name captures our vision of building products that combine authority with transparency, sophistication with intuitive design. Moving forward, Xyra Labs will continue to deliver advanced trading tools and DeFi innovations designed for both new entrants and professional traders.
